I gotta say the Blendtec Designer 650 is kinda heavy at 13.2 lbs but that gives it a solid feel. I actually prefer its weight over the lighter 9.8 lbs of the 650 S model.

The Blendtec has a shorter continuous operation time at 5 minutes but I usually don't need more so I like that it cools down faster compared to the 10 minutes on the Vitamix.

Both have Excellent Sealing Quality but I like how both ensure nothing leaks while blending.

Neither has a cooling function but I really wish BlendJet 2.0 had one since it can get hot after blending a lot so I'd say neither is better here but I pick BlendJet anyway.
